I have been working in the field of design since 2005, starting as an industrial designer. I inherited my passion for artifacts and furniture from my father, who is a skilled artisan carpenter. This passion, has led me to experiment with various production processes, materials in the realms of furnishings, appliances, lighting, packaging, exhibits, interiors. Later on, working on electronic devices and home appliances and their interfaces, I extended my field of interest to UX design, object-user digital interactions. Finally I ended up being involved in successful award-winning branding and communication design projects, which is today my major field of interest and main focus.
During my journey, operating in Rome, Lisbon, Milan and Calabria, I had the privilege of collaborating with different well-known designers and studios such as Simone Fanciullacci, Antonio De Marco, jozeph forakis...design, Odo Fioravanti, Philippe Tabet among others and several brands including Brico Center, Covo Srl, Wall&Decò, Haier, Casarte, CL Yachts, MEEM Memory, FontanArte, Cheoy Lee Shipyards, the Bastard, PVC Forum Italia.
After years of exploration and accumulating experiences, today marks the founding of nirama.design, a design studio based in the heart of southern Italy. Adapted to both remote and on-site collaborations, nirama.design represents my personal rebranding journey — 'Nirama' being the anagram of Marina — bringing together the expertise I've gathered over the years. Its mission is to create integrated design systems across graphics, products, digital and spaces.
I am excited to collaborate with agencies, companies or private clients that share my same love for objects/furniture, food/hospitality (HO.RE.CA), yacht industry as well as opportunities to expand my knowledge into uncharted realms.
I look forward to bringing extraordinary projects to life together!
